So many new and exciting things are happening in our library.
Where shall we start?

What Are You Reading?
That is a question that readers love! When we ask that question the answer usually has us grabbing a pen and piece of paper to write down the title and author of a book so that we can find it to read. How many of you have little pieces of paper stuck in pockets, drawers and purses with the titles of books scribbled on them that you want to read? (I can honestly tell you that I have quite a lot of them all over my house!) Don’t you love when someone tells you about a book that they are enjoying and/or learning from?
Well……We may have a solution to all that clutter laying around….
Starting this month we will be putting that question out on the St. Peter’s Facebook Page. A couple times a month we will post a question about the books you are reading and you can “comment” on the post with the title and author of a book you are reading or have read. You do not have to write anything else if you don’t want to. A title will give most interested readers enough to research the book to see if they would enjoy it. If you would like to add more information such as a short summary or your thoughts about the book please do – We would love it!
With the titles being posted on the Facebook page we can always refer back to them – We won’t need to keep the little pieces of paper! I hope you will check out our Facebook page and leave some “comments”. We are looking forward to see what everyone is reading!
REMINDERS
If you would like to donate a book to the library in honor of someone (birthdays, graduations, anniversaries, etc) or in memory of someone please look through our “Wishlist” and pick out a book (or books.) The “Wishlist” books are found in the orange 3-ring binder in our library. Each book has a separate page with a picture of the book, a short description, and the price. When you have picked the book you would like to donate just remove that page from the notebook and fill out a donation slip with the required information. You will find the donation slips in the front pocket of the binder.
After you have filled out your donation slip please put that along with the description page and your payment in either Kris Schatz’s, Diane Frantz’s, or Karen Sue’s mailbox. If the book that you chose is no longer available or the price has changed we will let you know o that you may choose another one if you wish. When we receive the book we will put a donation sticker in it with the information you have given us and add it to our library. If you have any questions please let us know.
Small Groups – All of our Small Group Studies are now displayed in our library. The Small Group studies are already on the Librarything web site so if your group is looking for a new study please check it out.
