CHILDREN’S MINISTRIES
Jesus is WILD about YOU!
And at St. Peter’s Church we are wild about you too! That’s why we want you to come join us to learn just how WILD Jesus is for you!!
We have many activities for children of all ages, including those who seem grown up.
Sunday- 9 am Christian Education, 10 am Worship and Children’s Church (meets the 2nd and 3rd Sunday from September to May)
Wednesday evening is the night we meet for youth and children’s activities.
6 – 7 pm J.A.M., Jesus and Me (grades K – 2) from September – May
6:30 – 7:00 pm The Puppet Ministry (grades 3 -8) from September - May
7:00 – 8:30 pm K.F.C., Kids for Christ (grades 3 – 5) from September – May
6:30 – 8:30 pm Y. I. H. I., Youth In His Image (Jr. high grades 6 – 8, Sr. high grades 9 – 12) all year.
Our Puppet Ministry performed at New Life for Women and Children, and presented a message on several occasions to our church family. The children at New Life received hats and scarf’s made by KFC and JAM. Yep, the children sewed the hats and decorated them.
On pet night we learned that God wants us to take care of all his creations; each child brought a pet or a picture of their pet or a stuffed pet.
The winner of our year long contest, don’t forget your Bible, was Abby. She brought her Bible every Wednesday night she attended. Abby won a gift certificate from Rita’s and a new Bible cover.
As a mission project, KFC and JAM had a table space at Spring Fest; the children donated gently used toys and other items to sell to raise money to send gift bags to shut-ins from the church.
We learned a song in sign language, made kites, prayer mats, flower arrangements, candle holders, and the list goes on.
But, most important, we learned how much Jesus loves us.
Remember, Jeremiah 29: 13 “You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.”
Bring your heart on this great adventure. Jesus has great plans for us; who knows what He has in store for YOU!
